Good Comments Marked as Spam

Thanks bro, it does give solace, that I am not the only one ;)

So it makes up my Triology of Youtube Mysteries for me,
1, ' Why People Subscribe and then Unsubsrcibe?,
2. Why people Like videos and then remove their likes? and the lastest one
3. Why people mark a good comment as spam?

People are people, so I think we need to live with it.... just keep the positives increasing and forget about this negatives.

I've noticed that too. Sometimes I think it's from other people marking the comment as spam for some reason (not YouTube). We did a video where my sister had a One Direction iPad case and someone said "Nice iPad case!" and it got marked as spam (I can see someone thinking they are funny by marking that as spam). We've had other similar ones like that too where I feel like someone was marking the comment as spam to be ironic. But I don't know. It's weird.

I've had a few instances where I've only had one or two comments on a video with only 5 views and both are marked as spam ... and they are valid comments. I can't imagine that all 5 viewers were flagging spam on the comments (and on each other). I think there is a glitch in the spam system.

Haha. YES! Although, I've never noticed anyone retracting their like on a video, I've definitely seen the subscribe then unsubscribe. I get an email each time someone subscribes, and I've sometimes gotten up to eight subscribe emails from the same person from them subscribing and then unsubscribing and subscribing again... And sometime's I've even gotten emails from months apart. As in, they subscribed months ago, unsubscribed and then subscribed again months later! It's always perplexed me!

That deepens the mystery. So it's not the people always who do it, Youtube has a mechanism to mark comments as spam...

This means that you have a troll who keeps marking legitimate comments as spam, your only real solution I can see is to check regularly on your videos and manually unmark the comments from spam to normal

Wow... the ability to 'Mark a Spam' has itself turned into a Spam hahahahaah :)

Thanks bro. Yes, your explanation seems to be a logical one. Someone who is either a troll or a competitor, or simply dislikes my vids, might do it to the good comments... very much a possiblility.

Looks like Youtube needs to invent a Spam filter to keep off those who habitually mark comments as spam. ... Irony. :(
