Good but cheap wireless lavaliere mic

Guys, anyone knows a cheap wireless lav. mic that I can use when filming pranks? We're currently using my smart phone to record and sync it manually in the editor, we're now considering buying one but our budget is limited.

I'm eyeing on the Azden Pro, and I've been reading reviews, some say it's good on a 300 feet away, some even say "don't go far 30 feet away". but I don't know who's telling the truth, probably it depends on where they tested it. so I think, If I'm one of those who said not to go far away that 30 feet, then we probably share the same environment.

I need some advice from you guys, we film with the Canon HF R400 it's pretty decent and films in HD , the zoom capability of this camera is great and by that, we want a wireless lav. that can also do the same w/o the noise(or at least lil' bit that can be fix in audacity)

any advice/tip/help would be greatly appreciated :bounce:

I'd just go with a basic digital audio recorder like a Zoom H1 and a wired lav and sync in post. It's not too expensive and will be a huge upgrade over using your smart phone. As an alternative, rode makes a lav mic that can be used with any smartphone.

I hope you don't mind me resurrecting this thread.

Would that be suitable for filming in noisy outdoors locations?

Thanks
