I'm going off to college in two weeks but I don't know how easy it will be to film in the dorms. Or what kind of videos I should/could do. If anyone one has lived in a dorm and still vlogged please help. I also don't know how to tell me roommate because I just started out.
 
It depends on your college. I know it's nearly impossible to record at my school. And just be straight up with your roommate
 
No one really has roommates here, 95 percent of rooms are single. Dunno if it's the same for you..?
 
At my university we didn't have many dorms, we had actually apartments, where several people share it and everyone has their own room. Although, everybody could hear everything, so probably vlogging there wouldn't work.

Thanks guys at my dorm i'm share a room with one other person and a bathroom with 3 other people and it's very small. But it's required for freshmen to still in the dorms.
 
Its possible to continue your vlogging on campus but obviously it becomes more challenging living with others. Telling the roommate you share your room with would probably be the first order of business if I was you, being up front about it I'm sure they wouldn't have a problem if you ask them to give you a good 1hr or 2hr a week to shoot your vlogs, heck they may even be willing to help you!
As far as your bathroom mates, if you really hit it off with them too I would tell them about your YouTube aspirations as well but its truly not necessary to tell everyone(unless you plan on recording vids in the bathroom lol)
 
I think it also depends on what you are taking, and what your roomates are taking. If you all are taking something film related, they will probably be filming stuff of their own, so it will be easy to tell them. If you are taking computer science or something, then it might be more difficult.
