Gluing a coin to the floor prank

I have tried this prank twice now. Both failed.

One time was with a £1 coin. I was set up in a busy location and a few people walked past and kicked it, but no one actually bent down to pick it up.

Last week I tried again with a £2 coin, after 30 minutes I gave up. No one saw it!!! I couldn’t believe it.

I am trying again tomorrow with a friend, with a £2 coin in a busy location.

Any tips / advice? Or is it just abit of luck on the day?
 
I think it's mostly luck but who knows it could work really well! Do you tend to do these indoors or outdoors?
 
this sounds fun! I want to watch it. i would just be patient, 30 Minuit wait isn't that much. set a camera up and have coffee with a friend while the camera films maybe.
it doesn't have to be the floor, what about a wall?
try maybe glueing the coin in a restaurant or a cafe, like the floor of starbucks near the counter.
 
Last time I did that gag, someone simply brute-forced it off the ground :(
Haha, but yeah, it takes some patience and luck :)
