Getting youtube on our shirts is a problem..why??

NothingToDoCrew

YTtalk Mad
So we have been looking into getting t-shirts for our channel and we finally ordered some. However, once i wear them i feel like i am constantly being asked what the heck is "nothing to do crew"

I feel like we really need to get the youtube logo on our shirts, but almost all the shops online won't put it on there because of trademark. So i am just wondering what have you guys done? Is there any shops that you can reccommend that will put the logo on there? Can i see some of your shirts?

I know youtube is trying to protect their brand (to stop people from making defamatory shirts that say things like "fu** youtube" or check out my rascist channel on youtube). But what about the content creators like us that support the brand.

I highly doubt you will be able to find any shop that will put the YouTube logo on there. The only thing I can think of is if you change the YouTube logo enough to where the shop lets you do it and doesnt interfere with trademark issues. And YouTube is not really worried about people saying F*** YouTube on shirts, its that you will have to pay YouTube money for using their brand on your shirts. Just like when you have to buy a license to use a song without getting copyright issues.

Duh, you are totally right..i forgot about the licensing aspects.. I know a few local t-shirt shops will do it, but they are always so expensive

Have you thought about instead of putting on the YouTube logo, putting on the URL instead. Like put the name of your channel and your logo and such and then underneath big enough to read, or on the back of the shirt put www.youtube.com/Olas87 I see shirts all the time, not for youtube, but for other things that have that on the bottom or back.
