Getting yourself known

What do you guys do to promote yourselves?
I'm a vlogger with under 100 subs, I'm not saying that I am trying to be "youtube famous" I just wondered how you guys get yourselves known and seen by an audience that will appreciate your videos.
Ideally my aim is to gain a couple of hundred subs as I progress on youtube, I just think it would be nice to have people who enjoy seeing my videos

Try using Twitter, Facebook and other social sites, post your videos on them and stay active around people and groups and are similar to you, the might check out your pages and then check out your channel.

Call yourself something other than a fangirl. Create your own persona that people can relate to.
