Getting Verified

I know that I have many months/years to come for me to get verified, but I wanted to ask this. So in one of my videos, I have a copyrighted song and it said that I cannot monetize it. So obviously I did not monetize this video, but there was still a place in my channel for copyright notices, and the video was still in there. But on the page that shows you who your partnered with and the community guidelines and stuff like that. It said for copyright, that my channel was in good standing. Is this fine if I want to get verified?
Thanks :D

To get verified all you need is over 1000 subs on YT and on Google+ and it's only a matter of time and waiting then

Having a Content ID claim does not effect your account standing, and won't impact your eligibility for verification, unless it is a worldwide Content ID block.

Actually you generally need a 100k or more subs.

YouTube doesn't accept general requests to receive name verification. If your channel meets the qualifications for verification, you may receive the verification badge. If your channel has fewer than 100,000 subscribers, it's usually not eligible for a verification badge.

If you change your channel's name, it will lose a verification badge if it has one. However, the channel will be automatically reviewed and receive a verification badge again if it meets the qualifications.
