Getting over filming in public?

Hey guys.. I make thrifting videos and I really want to go out in public and film while I am in the stores and everything. I get super nervous about what the store might say or people thinking I am a complete werido. If I have someone with me I don't get as nervous but I was wondering if you guys had any tips on getting over it!! Thanks in advance!!
 
Think of it this way: you will never see the people you are filming in front of again! Who cares what they think? You're pursuing what you love!
 
If you can't be in front of a few people in a shop, why can you let millions on YouTube see you? I think you'll be fine.

For stores, make sure they are cool with you filming there. Just ask for the manager, because you can get kicked out for filming in some stores.

Otherwise, it just takes practice. I usually try to film with someone else I know with me, so they can at least pretend to be the "cameraman," and I can say I'm filming something for the web. I film in public with puppets, so don't feel self-conscious! At least you're not trying to film AND pretend to be a cat! :)

thank you for the advice.. I am going thrifting tomorrow and am going to film with in the store.. We shall see how it goes!! I am excited and I am going to talk to the manager when i get there to clear it.. thanks again[DOUBLEPOST=1468024976,1468024900][/DOUBLEPOST]

Thank you for the comment. I was more worried about like the store and them telling me I couldn't film. but you are right I don't mind you guys seeing my videos Ill be okay with telling people what I am doing!![DOUBLEPOST=1468025028][/DOUBLEPOST]

That is very true.. As long as I love what I do and what I am creating who cares if people look at me weird!! thanks for the advice :)
