Getting more subs??

ok guys im stuck at I think 45 subs on my channel. is there anyway to get more and how ?? whats your ways to get more people to sub to you and watch your channel?? I think my thumbnails are pretty good right now, maybe is it making more vids like daily or something??
 
I would look at a few guides that are in this forum, there are some good ones that you can follow, and they can help you out if you are stuck,.
 
Try and interact in the comments of similar videos to yours. This way you're mixing with people who are interested in your niche so they're more likely to check out your channel and subscribe :) If that doesn't work then maybe try using social media to discretely promote yourself?

I took a look at your channel and I'm going to give this to you from a viewer standpoint. Your account looks very personal and there are very little titles that looks relatable. Thumbnails could be more eye catching and clear. I watched your most recent video. It started rather abruptly and it was at an awkward angle. It's a video about contacts and it's pointed at your mouth. Try introducing the video. Have a clear beginning, middle, and end. People like structure. Good luck!

You want to include keywords and importantly search terms in the title. Especially on how to videos.

Nobody searches for "how to put in and take out contact lenses" but lots of people search for.

"How to put in contacts"

How do I know this? I used the google keyword tool and looked it up.

The search term "How to put in contacts" gets 12,000 searches a month. The search term "how to put in and take out contact lenses" gets 30.

When I'm titling a how to video I normally think about what would I be likely to actually search for, not necessarily, what's the most accurate description of what this video is about.

A perfect title would have been. "How to put in contacts - An amazing contact lens life hack."

I like to lead with a search term. Then separate with the dash. And then drop relative keywords in after the dash.

So you've got the following search terms and keywords in your title.

How to put in contacts
contacts
contact lens
contact lens life hack

You have the following tags.

  • YouTube Editor
  • Contact Lens (Product Category)
  • Lens (Invention)
  • Health (Industry)
  • Eye
  • First
  • Take
  • Out
  • put in
  • contacts
  • eye doctor
  • tips
  • diy
  • how to
  • Do It Yourself (Hobby)
  • Help

I'd make some changes. Let's get rid of everything that's not relevant.

On your tags always include your channel name. It helps YouTube associate your videos with your other videos so you don't lose as much traffic in suggested search to other channels.

Then lead with the most specific tags. E.g. if someone searched for it and came up with your video would they be likely to watch the whole thing or would they have reached it in mistake.

And then round out your tags with some fairly broad tags like life blog, vlogger, makeup guru, etc. I didn't watch any of your other videos but basically you want some pretty generic tags that you use on every video at the end. Especially when you're doing your type of content. You'll need to decide what those generic tags should be.

So now you have the basics of SEO. I think you can leave a lot of the other stuff alone.

I would tweak your thumbnails though. They look ok one at a time but go to your video page and look at all of them at once? Notice anything? They all look exactly the same. Mix it up.

And I hate myself for saying this because I'm gonna sound sexist as hell, but you're cute. Show it off in your thumbnails. It helps. One of my best friends is a big makeup blogger. 500,000 subs. Her cleavage is all sorts of showing in her thumbnails. She swears by it:) Of course don't make it so graphic you get in trouble.

People who are attractive, guys or girls, should have their face/likeness in almost every thumbnail, otherwise it's a wasted asset. Attractive people simply do better on Youtube than unattractive people, all other things being equal (am I 'ugly-shaming'?). It's just how life works. Doesn't even have to be racy or anything, just a face shot would be enough if a person is attractive enough. All of the better looking Youtubers put their faces in their thumbnails. It's not by accident, they know their target audience and how to appeal to them and catch their eye.

thank you so much I tried so more vids I think im getting better and better thank u for letting me know what u think I need more people to let me know about I need the honestly so thank u hun:)
 
I second the sentiment about commenting and participating with other youtubers. Commenting has led to a handful of subs for me. More importantly, it's put me in contact with youtubers I can one day collaborate with (which means more subs).
