Getting Knocked Down

So I uploaded a video to my channel which had really good response (for my size anyways) and wanted to know what you all thought....

Have you ever been knocked down for doing YouTube? Whether that has been from friends, family, classmates or colleagues. Has anyone ever told you that you're sad, stupid or that you're a lonely nerd because you do YouTube?

If you did get any of the above then what did you do to overcome it?

I have from my family. They told me that youtube is crap and not going to get me anywhere in life. They said it makes you look stupid. I overcame it by telling them youtube is a passion that you do because you enjoy it. And it took a while and they understood.

My parents were the same at first but slowly they are starting to realise that it is what I love to do
