Getting hit by a dislike bot, help!

So I'm sure others have experienced this but I'm getting hit by a dislike bot. I'll be streaming and all of the sudden a wave of dislikes comes in quickly, last time was 54 in about 2 minutes. Meanwhile I have more likes than that and everyone was confused as they all said they were having a good time. Can we do anything about this? I'm guessing there is no way to report this to YouTube but I could see this crushing my channel. I usually only get a handful of dislikes maybe 17 for a 4 hour stream, and I was just streaming for 20 minutes this time.

I have not gotten dislike botted ever because I don't have enough people that know about me but I still get dislikes. Just email Youtube.

Thanks for the reply but looking for someone with experience with this. If this has happened to you do we just accept it and move on our is there anything we can do to stop it?

I've had people putting a lot of dislikes in a row, nothing you can do about it. As long as your likes are higher I wouldn't pay attention to it and focus on the people who do like your stuff. Haters gotta hate.

I think they should do away with the dislike button or atleast add a forced option to it

Theres a rumor that they're removing the dislike button entirely in the upcoming GUI update.

If someone is disliking your videos for no reason, you can disable the ratings of the videos for a month or so until they are gone.

Yeah you can disable the rating of your videos. However, still you can contact youtube from the feedback forum.

Thanks for the info. After looking through a lot of things I saw that dislike does count as audience engagement which helps you search higher than if they didn't dislike it. It's better than them not doing anything which I thought was odd. Makes me care less about the dislike bot. It appears they only went after that life feed and then stopped. At least now I won't care as much since the likes are higher.

I've never understood the point of a dislike button beyond that it gives the creator a sense of what people like. But then if bots are all over the place, it kind of negates it completely. I don't think ive ever been botted, but I did have an ex subscriber go around and simultaneously dislike all of my videos, you know...just to make themselves feel better lol.
