Getting back into YT: Should I rebrand and rename?

Hey folks. So I used to make some gaming videos a few years ago. Now I'm considering to try to get back into Youtube, but is tired of making the kind of content I used to, and would likely rather focus on more generic low-effort letsplay-types, now that I have established viewers. Never done those sort of videos before.

The thing I wonder though, is whether my current gamertag (Zaffaro) and channel name (ZaffaroTV) is kind of a clumsy name, since people often fail to spell it right, I'll guess it's hard to remember, and impossible to pronounce. Hell, the whole channel name has FIVE syllables! However it's what I've been using since the beginning and grown my channel to six thousand subscribers with. It's also in my custom youtube url, which afaik cannot be changed.

So:

• Anyone else having similar experiences with just completely shifting the channel branding/name around while you had somewhat of an established fanbase,
• If you owned a channel named "ZaffaroTV" would you keep it that way or change it to something catchier (suggestions?)

I would say not to change it. But if you did want to change anything just have a new logo and intros and stuff.

I would say do what is going to make you happy! Post the videos that make you happy and that you enjoy doing and then everything else will fall into place! Because you will upload more and with better quality if you enjoy what you are doing. So with that being said your "branding" or "name" can be the same

my gamer tag is RichieTheDon and my Channel is RichGuitarGamer - I prefer my youtube name and people still add my gamertag anyways bro,
