Hey everyone!

I was wondering if anybody has had experience with contacting company and getting them to send you a product to do a review. If so could you shine some light on how you went about it and what you said.

Thank you!!

I know some vloggers who review products, and I'm pretty sure they're part of an organisation thing. Do a quick search for "review products for youtube" as a few come up (be careful they're not scams though - NEVER enter your card details!!!)

Alternatively, check out the article on wikihow. It comes up when you search the above.

There are a few things you can do. I personally would recommend contacting a company direct. Most companies have products and stock set aside for reviewing, samples etc. You usually can get in contact with them via a contact section on their website. It certainly helps if you have subscribers and views and your audience is related to that niche.
Depends on how well established you I know some of the well known youtubers have direct contacts within companies. Make up is a prime example I know a lot of the successful youtubers, usually just get stuff sent to them.

However if you just want to jump in you could set up an account on Fivver, there are alot of people doing product reviews on that

Some companies are just rude though. Asked Hasselblad if I could borrow one of their £25,000 camera's for the summer, no reply. So rude. :giggle::giggle:

I have had several companies send me product to review. Each happened in a different way.

1. The company contacted me so that was easy.

2. I found a product in the store that I fell in love with and wanted to share on my channel. Before I did, I contacted the company and asked if they had any issue with me sharing it. They looked at my channel, liked what they saw and "approved" the idea. Now they send me samples of new products on a regular basis.

3. I purchased something from the Internet, I was really impressed with the product and hoped that I could do a tutorial for the website I purchased it from. I wanted to get it embedded for all of the shoppers. Anyway, I made the video, contacted the shop owner and sent her a link. Now she sends me product to use and show to my subscribers.

These aren't all small companies either. The Internet store is rather small. However the one I mention in the second example is a product line sold in Walmart and several other big craft stores.

I find that when I love a product, I am really inclined to contact the company and hope we can work together.

I have noticed that as my channel had grown more people contact me about reviewing products. I am not with a network btw.
