lol wow well this guy sure busted my bubble....

Commented on my recent video saying... "Oh My God!!! I can't belive this that you are so underated .... Trust me you can easily get till 1M subs "

Im like... Yes sure.... If i keep playing the Sub 4 Sub game lol... (which i wont do)

Then he goes ahead and says, Oh My God!!! I can't belive this that you are so underated .... Trust me you can easily get till 1M subs .....

"Bdw i have subbed you and i am gonna stay active on your channel and watch your all the videos till the end"

So that got me a little happy and was like Ok cool thanks...

Then he says ....
"But would you mind subbing me back and staying active on mine too :)"

I check my lates subscriber feed and this dude didnt even subscribed like he said

/facepalm

Man whats a girl gotta do to attract some real audiences to her channel.... geez....
really trying my best to attract people but seems like im attracting fake people and its really discouraging =/

anyways just wanted to do a rant on that hope everyone is having a good day :3

Yep. I don't sub to people who ask me to go check out their channel, those are garbage usually anyways lol.

People have been doing it more and more lately though no idea why.

Lately i have been seeing people begging for subs by doing the Live stream sub counts/ going around on peoples channels asking to sub back, and people doing the shout outs on their channel like sure its cool to do the shout out sunday monday tuesday whatever..... but i feel thats like another method that people do to get subs because they say

if you want a shout out... subscribe to me like my videos stay active and subscribe to the people im shouting out....
like wtf i feel like im getting pressured here geez lol.... alot of methods people are using to gain subs... #MakeYouTubeGreatAgain /facepalm

What the fujahndfjndfelfkmmf? That sounds crazy! and just another reason why I don't like sub for sub...tends to bring out the lazy/crazy/sometimes both ones :P and to answer OP, I hate it when channels that don't make content that interests you expect you to subscribe to them just because they subscribe to yours, and just like in your case, I've seen some who haven't actually subscribed or who unsubscribed almost right after...

Yeah I've had the 'shoutout' comment before.

I've only got 29 subscribers, but I've still been putting in the effort to maintain regular uploads. Every time I see the subscriber count go up by 1, it's like a breath of fresh air haha.

What I look at more though is my views per 48 hours, or 24 hours. I try to maintain that, because with the more views, the more exposure, and the more subscribers

Creator Studio > Community > Community Settings

From here you can manage blocked users and enter keywords so that comments are held for review before being published on your channel. Do you use the community area to manage comments and messages? there are quite a few folders where comments can get marked as spam which are legitimate comments from viewers.
