Gaming funny moments montage HELP?!

I want to make a funny moments montage but I don't know where to start. What are some good games to play for the montage? Any good tips on editing the montage? How long should I record to get enough good moments?
 
unless you're hilarious an hour for ten minutes is a good starting point :)

as for editing that's more for you to decide lmao. everyone has their own styles.

and for games idk, retro ones are fun for me to watch but a majority of people like GTA5 stuff
 
I primarily make gaming funny moments! I think you can make a funny montage on any game tbh. I usually do Garry's Mod or CS:GO or any game that's trending/popular at the time, either by myself or with friends and other YouTubers. Horror games would be cool too! Sometimes I record for maybe a hour, I don't really keep track, but that shouldn't really matter. What matters is that you have fun!
With editing, it depends what you like I guess. Personally I prefer short, packed videos. I don't really know how to explain it XD I guess you could look at my vids, idk. I also like low background music, it kinda makes it flow

Depends also what you mean by funny moments. Every game I play either on camera or off camera, if I come across any funny glitches or something really bizzare happens when it shouldn't. Then keep those videos to one side and when you feel you have enough silly moments. Chop them up and piece them together in a short 5 to 10min video

The good thing about the PS4 is if you are not recording and something silly happens, you can save the previous 15mins of gameplay. Then its just a case of chopping the end of the video off that has the funny moment
