Gaming Channel Review

I've Got It
Hey guys,

I've uploaded a bunch of videos but only recently started to take it seriously. I originally uploaded just so me and my friends could watch games we had in the past. However I started to edit my videos and really enjoyed it so I would love to maybe take it a bit further.

A part from my accent which I know is a bit hard to understand! Are there any other aspects I can improve on?

Much appreciated!

Hey Twizzer,

First of all good luck and have fun with your gaming channel they are a blast :)
Just before i start I am no expert but i do have a channel and some friends that also do gaming so have a decent idea :)

I would say your content is good and your uploading plenty of vids which is really good.

Things to consider changing:
•make custom thumbnails for each video
•edit to the best bits just to bring down the vid time (people may not click on 10+ min vids)
•when uploading if you go to advanced you can enter the game name which can help people find your vids

Hope this helps :) will try to keep up with your new stuff :)

Thanks man, these are great tips. Going to the advanced options and entering the game name is not something I knew so that will definitely help!
I have a question though, from what I understood youtube wants you to have 10+ min videos which is why I done them. Was I wrong to do so? I'll definitely cut my videos down if it'll help!

Tizzer,

Hey hey a fellow gamer. Pretty good content and awesome channel!

I am also no expert as I only have 1 subscriber and have only been posting for a little over 1 week, but one thing I would definitely incorporate in each video is a custom thumbnail. I too have been playing Fortnite and each of my videos have custom thumbnails. I can honestly say the click through rate on my videos have been impressive and I'm pretty sure it is because of the thumbnails.

Channel branding is pretty good I especially like the icon. I like the space theme as I too have something similar. With that being said I would put some shading on your channel art to bring more focus to your name, nonethless awsome stuff bud!

I have subscribed as well. It is always good to see new youtube gamers like myself.

Hey :)

Im glad that i could help out :)

I think for additional add revenue they suggest over 10 min vids. Im not saying that you cant use longer vids, im just saying that a longer vid may put people off watching :) personally i use a little bit of both for my channel with longer vids for playthroughs and older streams and the shorter clips are the ‘best bits’ from collabs etc, i hope that this helps :)

I have subed so if you want to chat about any of this stuff for future vids etc, i will try to help the best i can :D

Ah man, thank you so much I appreciate that. Yeah the custom thumbnail is something I thought was difficult so I didn't do it. Recently I found fotojet.com and it made it very easy for me.
I'll work on my channel, funnily enough I noticed that the other day and you've just confirmed that for me.

Mate, if you play fortnite I'll have to check your channel out too!

No worries :)

Yeah there are some great free and paid for softwares that you can use for thumbnails :) i have always just used MSpaint which isnt the best but gets the job done XD

I do :) with some people that i actually met on this site and we have been collabing ever since :)

Oh I see, well fair enough I dont monetize my vids anyway so I'll make them shorter definitely.

Thanks man!
