Gaming Channel in need of New Video Ideas

Hello! I am ICEMonk717 and I just joined this community of nice people today!
Anyways introductions aside, I was just wondering, does anyone have any ideas they want to chip in with as I'm all out of them, everything is considered and taken into account, so don't think that it was a waste posting! :)

Now a little bit about my history with previous channels I have had and the channel I have today.
(This isn't promotion, but instead, help to people who need a little background, so they know what they can work with)
In the past 2-3 years I have had around 3-5 YT Channels, all gaming (as it's my passion, and I want to share it) and I have been plucking at different stones from the gaming pile (I.E Different Games, Different Video Styles just to name a couple).
Now the odd thing has worked, like let's plays etc... but nothing enough to make people comeback for more.
I had doubts on whether I should just quit YouTube altogether as it was getting me down and annoyed a lot, but I bit the bullet to start a fresh mainly because I couldn't let go and had to keep doing what I enjoy which is making videos for people's entertainment.
So here I am (again) with a new channel and trying my luck once again. Hopefully this time doing a lot better in terms of videos and the ideas, along with your sexy help ;).

Okay so on to the channel I have now! :D
Channel Age: 01/09/2014 (This might not be needed, but channel age can help in terms of what has worked in the past or if it's new then ideas can be put forward :))
Videos Uploaded: 2 (Mainly Slow Internet has made me loose motivation in recording and uploading)
Games that are on my channel: Minecraft (Popular by kids, watched by millions) Murdered: Soul Suspect (An interesting slow paced game that seems fun)
Video styles on my channel: Commentary/Let's Play (Dying thing, but it has worked in the past) and Walkthroughs (Difficult to master, fun when done right)

It seems original ideas are very hard to come by, it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack.
So with that being said, it maybe safer to backtrack to something that has already been done, but just try to make it 10x maybe 20x better than what is already out there.

So any takers? or is it too much to handle?

Sorry, I didn't read all of it. But don't let slow internet drive you away, I have slow internet too. I still upload. Also don't give up, just sit down someday and think of new ideas. Hope this helped :)
 
The ideas part is the tricky part...I have a few written into my legendary green book (it was originally black) and I may post a couple in this thread for more people to have a gander at and give me constructive criticism, but I wanna hear other ideas from other people to be brought to the table, we may even end up helping each other out.

Thanks :) Maybe do some mini-games? A modded series? Server with some friends? Vanilla Minecraft? Build something cool? Heck, I started by going on the XBox store, browsing indie games that were bad, and recording them and reactions. Do anything that makes you happy :D
 
Mini Games, I may start doing a series on that, I just don't know how to go about it correctly (I do need the PvP experience though)
Modded Series, Did well on my old channel and I probably will revive it again.
Server with friends, I have a server and we all record, so that series is going to materialize on my channel some point this week.
As for the Vanilla stuff, I have an Idea, which I may post on this thread for some feedback, it's crazy and might be a lot of fun for me anyways.
I also do walkthroughs, which I will be doing as they are fun.

If you wanna know more about the ideas I have, just ask :P

When I'm out of ideas, I sit down with a notebook and jot down every idea that comes to mind. Good or bad.
 
me too, but most of the time, the ideas come and go when I don't have a notebook, and by the time i manage to grab some paper to jot them down, they are lost...between the enveloping darkness we call time
 
If you have slow internet, then I would suggest trying to keep your videos as short as possible (around the 5 min mark). Also, if you don't think lets plays are bringing people back for more, try making helpful gaming videos, like tutorials or guides.[DOUBLEPOST=1413253754,1413253682][/DOUBLEPOST]Also, I suggest making videos on games that aren't overplayed, but still interest people. If you want one, I would get Warframe. It's free, too.
