Gameplay Copyrights and Partnerships

Hey all!

Just posting this because I have a quick question.

Okay, I posted a video of gameplay from Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon today, and it got blocked worldwide because it violated copyrights from Ubisoft. So I deleted it, and tried again - same issue. THEN I accepted the partnership from Fullscreen that I had pending and tried uploading again and it still didn't work.

Shouldn't it have worked? Don't YT networks have all the permissions for their partners to upload gameplay? Or maybe the acceptance to Fullscreen Arcade just has to process?

Thanks in advance for replies!

Also, should this say "Fullscreen Partner" or "Youtube Partner"? This is my Dashboard on YouTube.

It depends if the specific network has the copyrights for Ubisoft they might not! and your contract might not be threw yet check your email for anything about a dashboard

That should say YT Partner.
In channel settings it should specify which network you belong to.
I think Ubisoft doesn't allow for their stuff to be monetized. There was a thread about companies that allow monetization somewhere around the forums. I could give you the link to it in a pm if you want.

You should find out what games Fullscreen have licenses to also just to make sure.

Yeah if you could send me that thread link that'd be cool! But the thing is, I didn't monetize the gameplay, so why did it get flagged?

Now that idk :/ hopefully someone else can help you on that part.[DOUBLEPOST=1367453850,1367453777][/DOUBLEPOST]Permission: Ubisoft responded to my request to monetize via Facebook message. They granted permission and even encouraged video uploads granted that our videos follow certain guidelines. They did not specifically address monetization in the message, but they certainly did not prohibit it.
Recommendation: Monetize at your own risk.
Now that really doesn't make sense.
