Game review series idea

Is a game review series a good idea?

I found a site called The Free Bundle and they have released many amazing games, all for free. The site doesn't get a lot of exposure, so most don't know about it.

I was thinking of doing a small series, in which I record some gameplay of each game(there are 4 in each pack) and review them as honestly as possible.

It's not my usual route on YouTube, but I'm running out of ideas for videos since Minecraft is losing its flare for me.

Does this seem like a good idea, or should I go back to recording a game I don't play much of anymore?

You have to want to talk about the game though, saying things like "it was good" "you killed stuff" doesn't count as a review, I hate seeing that crap lol. It's a good idea but make sure it's an idea you really want to commit to, not because you're running out of ideas.
 
It could be really fun if the games are diverse. If a pack has four differnt types of games - a shooter, a tower defense, a stealth game, and like, a duck feeding simulator or whatever - then that keeps the videos varied and keeps you focused.

Plus I'm always on the hunt for free lightweight casual games that are worth what little time I have! I'm sure others feel the same way too.

I will be. I think it has potential, as long as there are no horror games. (I iz scared of those)

xD same lol I'm not too fond of them.
 
Reviewing games is a fun route to take on YouTube. My cousin and I do various video game videos and commentate over them. It's something different than what we usually do, which is live skits. Because of this, we made our VG commentaries a different YouTube channel. However, I'm all for variety. You should go for it.
