Okay so there is a certain someone in office and i have an idea to edit, manipulate videos, what are the rules on using video footage from news broadcasts? could i monetize or should i avoid doing that

I feel like you'd be better off airing on the side of caution and not monetizing it. The better approach would maybe be just using affiliate marketing or another potential revenue stream to generate income on the video.

I'd love to see your video when it comes out though. :) I also just yesterday posted a Trump parody video using clips from Call of Duty MW Remastered. I did something similar with recent speech coverage. Good luck!

Its something i do regularly with my videos anyway so its not much effort just makes it so much better to watch.
Having a video like that, that could get way more views than my other stuff, even if i dont monetize it, it would bring traffic at least to my channel and has the chance people may stumble on other videos. I basically dont wanna create a video that could give me a strike or kicked off[DOUBLEPOST=1486555113,1486486810][/DOUBLEPOST]

I posted a video, wasn't the one I was going to do but was similar. I found some footage someone had edited together loads of clips of him saying bing, so i edited the sound and thought that made it so much better.
