Fullscreen partnership - would it be worth it?

Cameron Dubs

Making David Cameron Sing!
Hey guys :)

So I'm currently considering joining the Fullscreen network, and whether this would be beneficial for my channel or not. I'm having a bit of dificulty deciding, plus due to the fact that Fullscreen doesn't make their list of "Apps" (features) public, which their partners have access to.

In just under 18 months, my channel has gained 92,000 views and 1,200 subscribers, whilst earning about £16.08 in total (although this is "lifetime" earnings, the per month has been increasing recently).

The audio from my songs is also sold and distributed through Loudr.fm to iTunes, Spotify, Google Play, Amazon and Deezer. Currently Loudr.fm take a 30% cut of earnings, but I understand that they take 15% with Fullscreen creators. I only started this on 1st April, and don't have access to the reports for the month yet, so I'm not entirely sure how much has been made.

I'd also like to look into the opportunity of collaborating with youtubers, as well as possibly starting a merch shop through Spreadshirt towards the end of this year (which I know Fullscreen has a deal with, but not sure what exactly).

Basically, I've no idea about the features and apps of Fullscreen, and therefore whether my channel will benefit from using the network.

Also, despite Fullscreen obviously taking a cut from the extra Ad sales, has any Fullscreen partners actually seen an increase in their monthly earnings once they joined? How good is their ad sales?

If you could help offer some guidance, that would be highly appreciated. Maybe some brief reviews of experiences with Fullscreen, or a full list of features/apps available to you as a Fullscreen partner?

Any help/guidance would be highly appreciated!

Cheers guys! :D

The main reason I stayed with Fullscreen is because their music library is free to use and finding good royalty free music is not very easy. I've debated on leaving and finding music elsewhere, but when I look around most of the music sucks. I use music in a lot of videos, so that's an important thing to me. Besides the music I don't really use anything else besides the free spreadshirt account to create personal shirts.

Search OnsionSpeaks "Countless YouTubers Being Scammed (Huge Network Con)" and it pretty sums up to me what I feel about Networks

Thanks guys, that's really helped! I think I'm defnitely gonna search around quite a bit before making any decisions - it won't be good if I end up signing a 2 year contract, and then changing my mind!

Cheers guys :)

Negotiate... Everybody has wiggle room including the content creator. I re-negotiated my contract after year 1
