Hey everyone, this is gonna be a long post but bear with me. If you're passionate about online entertainment then it'll be worth it in the end.
What im looking to get out of this thread is to find friends and long term collab partners. People that are passionate about online entertainment and want to see their channel grow and also people that are legitimately interested in trying to turn it into a career. We can help strengthen eachother's weaknesses and grow our channels together. I'm looking for people that produce nice high quality gaming entertainment videos. If you already have an established audience, thats a plus. But as long as you know what you're doing then that'll do just fine. My comedic style is similar to the InsideGaming/Funhaus crew and Hwnt/SuperPanicFrenzy. The guys at Funhaus are my favorite people and i draw a lot of inspiration from them. If we share the same sort of comedy then we will surely make a good team.
I've had many collab partners in the past and none of them have been as fun as when I'm just playing with my friends. It stems from the fact that with meeting new people and just jumping into a video together it can be very awkward when you don't even know the person you're gaming with. To make good videos, you gotta be confident and also comfortable in your surroundings. With that said, i want to make this thread about making new friends, getting comfortable with each other and then having some fun in video games
Below i will share my not so super strict set of requirements for the type of person i'm looking for. Also because this thread is about making friends, i will share my set of interests. If you share any of the same, then we will hit it off and can go from there.
My Requirements:
1.Be Funny
2.18+ age
3.Make Good Quality Videos:
--Being confident and happy in front of the "camera" *
--Have good mic
--720p video quality
--Have knowledge in video production and thumbnail creation *
4.Be on a good upload schedule. (dont be uploading a video once a month, if you want success, you have to work for it.)
5. Being involved or keeping up with current news in the gaming industry (a good way to do this is to watch Machinima and/or Funhaus)
6. Be willing to spend money when needed. (Youtube is an investment at times. whether it be new hardware or new games to play)
7. Be passionate about online video entertainment and want to see it turn into a career. (i don't want to have a collab partner that'll eventually quit youtube) <--- this is an important one!!
Note that requirements marked with * i am willing to teach and give advice as long as you follow requirement 7 ..... Also i am in the U.S. following EST, it would be ideal if you we're also in the U.S. so it will be easier to schedule recording sessions.

Video Games: Xbox360 / PS4 / PC - (I play a wide variety of games, i pretty much will play anything) games i like: Call of Duty, GTA5, CS, Gmod, L4D, Evolve, Destiny, Assassins Creed, Elder Scrolls, etc)
Youtube - i watch 5 hours of youtube a day, the people that are most important to me in life are Roman Atwood and the crew at Funhaus. besides them i watch other pranksters and mainly gameplay entertainers. people like Machinima, Rooster Teeth, Mlghwnt, SuperPanicFrenzy, KindaFunny, Boogie2988, Geek&Sundry
Marvel - im a HUGE Marvel nerd. They make my favorite movies and i LOVE their characters.
Movies/TV - or just entertainment in general xD ( i mainly watch Comedies because i just like to laugh)
--some things i like: Anything Marvel Studios has put out, Parks and Rec, The Office, Monk, Pysch, Step Brothers, Bridesmaids, etc
Sports. - I have a mild interest in sports, i like basketball, soccer, and baseball but not enough to actually follow or watch on tv
Music - i mainly listen to Rock but branch out occasionally.
--just some bands i like currently: Paramore, Sleeping with Sirens, Hollywood Undead, A Day to Remember, Lindsey Stirling, Fall out Boy, Panic! at the Disco, Falling in Reverse

I dont claim to be perfect, and i don't mean to come off that way. I've done youtube a total of 2 years, i've experienced the struggles but ive also seen success. I feel like i have a good understanding of what makes great content. And I'm willing to share that knowledge but in return, all i ask is for you to be passionate about Youtube and wish to see your channel grow into something awesome. But it is a team effort and after all i essentially am looking for a friend to do Youtube with. As you can see, this is something i'm very serious about pursuing and am looking for someone who shares the same passions and goals as me.
Youtube should always be done as a hobby first, but their is nothing wrong with trying to make a career out of it. That is my attention and i hope it's yours too.
