Freedom Refuses to Pay

At the start of this January, I decided to ditch Freedom and switched to another network with a 80% revenue share, so I just unlinked my channels from Freedom. Still, I had to wait for another month for the unlinking to take effect. ("Freedom", huh?)

After a month went by (around Feb 5), the channels were finally unlinked, and I proceeded to delete them from my Freedom profile. At this point, I found there was one channel I forgot to unlink, so I had to keep this one in my Freedom profile for another month.

At the start of March, it's scheduled to receive my first earnings from Freedom for December last year's revenue share. To my horror, as it turned out, I received only the earnings from the one channel I forgot to unlink. The earnings from other channels are still shown on my Freedom dashboard, but they just don't pay.

I opened a ticket. The support was responsive, but his answer was basically "I can do nothing about it, and we need to wait for a member of the financial team to check it out". Two weeks later, I still haven't heard anything from "a member of the financial team" or anyone from Freedom.

How about the earnings from January, when my channels were forced to stay in their custody for an extra month? Surprise surprise, the earnings doesn't even show up in my dashboard.

Maybe it's due to the fact that I deleted the channels from my profile. I just trusted them as one of the biggest MCNs out there will pay 60% of what the partners earned, without any fuss. It appears I was quite wrong.

I had a bad experience with them as well...I NEVER got paid. I mean NOTHING. Consider the money gone an a lesson learned. Ill never join another network.

Yeah, I've heard this story a lot; especially from Freedom. They seem to get away with it all the time.

Okay, Robert. What you do in this situation is find Liam Neeson and ask him to call Freedom.
Money will be yours, guaranteed.

Yea.. Freedom is just a bad network. It shouldn't scare you guys away from the good ones though. For gamers Curse is actually a VERY good network.

With what i've read about Freedom, im quite scared for when I do decide to leave xD
Well, im kinda just waiting for the moment when they screw me over ...
(I only plan on being with them while im small and untill Im old enough to sign up for a google adsense)

That sucks man, and honestly I tend to hear nothing but bad things about Freedom and a lot (not all, but a lot) of these big networks that try to rope in a ton of YouTubers. Hopefully it gets cleared up - if you really wanted to, you could probably keep pushing and maybe even threaten to take them to court (small claims, I think it'd be? Not sure).
