Free video editor for games?

I need a video editing program that is free, i just need it to allow overlay. The editor i have now allows video overlay, but it doesnt include sound and I cant edit the overlay track, which makes it hard. the only way i could edit with it is if i added all the clips, exported the 20 min video, then edited that and exported it again after adding the audio from the overlay track that i wanted. i will do this if i cant find another editor, just thought id look for an easier way first.

seriously? -.- windows movie maker is slow a** hell, has basically no features and as far as im concerned doesnt have video overlay.

Videospin doesnt seem to have video overlay either, also its really slow and almost crashed my computer, so there goes that idea... guess its the hard way for me
