I already know about this risk. It's common in the community to ask for subs when giving away free copies of games. This also goes for shout-out videos.

Some people cannot afford to purchase the game but really want to play it. I am giving a free copy to someone that really wants it. Chances are that people already bought it for the 1.2 and the ones left are people that cannot afford it.

Well just a piece of advice, and I've seen this happen before; don't expect your audience to suddenly become more engaged with more subscribers, majority of people who take part in things like these will either i.) stay subscribed, but not watch your videos. or ii.) unsubscribe after finding out the results, even if they win.

I already know about these two options. It's about the exposure and getting people into my channel to look at my content.
