Free Stock Footage for Your Projects

Hey guys,

I thought it may be useful to start a thread on stock footage resources that you can use for free to add to your YouTube projects.
Here are a few that I have found useful in the past, all completely free to use:

Videvo.net - large selection of HD footage and motion graphics
Beachfrontbroll.com - HD footage - some great clips here
Bottledvideo.com - a large library of SD footage
vimeo.com/groups/freehd - all HD footage - again some really nice ones

The above examples mainly serve up Creative Commons 3.0 clips, but remember to check the licensing before downloading/using.

Of course it is allowed, its only really an issue when it is done to advertise and in this case I dont think thats why you posted this unless you are affiliated with one of the sites listed but theres no reason to believe you are.
 
We are currently working on putting together stock footage library. They are definitely a good thing to have access to.
