@uberdanger oh ok thanks but just super scared about getting copy right striked i have only been on youtube for 2 months dont want my youtube going down haha
Ok first of all, a single copyright strike won't make your channel go down, you need 3 of them. And generally, if you get a copyright strike, you can get it removed after 6-ish months from what I've heard.
I got my copyright strike removed immediately when I got one, courtesy of my network, though you're not in a position yet where your network will do that for you. I suggest focusing on content creation and growing your channel, and not around issues such as this.
I know it's probably poop advice and sounds like I'm saying "make vids, f**k copyright", but generally what you wanna worry about as a new Youtuber is creating content and furthering yourself as a Youtuber. What do YOU want to share with the world?
Personally Youtube is still a hobby now that it's my full-time job, and that's why I don't wanna spend hours upon hours finding the rights to all the music I use. Though I do ALWAYS credit all the artists for their work, and if any artist requests part of or the whole revenue from a video I've used his music alone in, then I am bound to give it to him, not just by law, but also by morals.
One of the people I've had the pleasure of working with was Rakohus, you can search his channel on Youtube, he makes a lot of 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit remixes of songs, and I find they work very well as background music. I've bought all his albums, ep's, and releases, and I always link to his work when I use it, he's totally cool with it, I'm sure he'd allow any of you to do it as well.
