Hello if you are looking for some good songs a youtube channel i use is called nocopyrightsounds so much good music have a look

I wanna point out just quickly, that many of theese "non copyright" Youtube channels, don't actually promote songs that are royalty free, many of them don't even have the rights to use the songs themselves. Many of their "sources" for music, can either be people submitting songs claiming to be the copyright holder, or just other music channels.

I personally use copyrighted music in almost every video, f**k the cops. But if you're serious about not using copyrighted music, you should contact monstercat, they are really cool about it and generally lets people use their music, and they DO have the rights to all their music. I messaged them half a year ago and they whitelisted me, so I do have the rights to SOME of my music.

@uberdanger oh ok thanks but just super scared about getting copy right striked i have only been on youtube for 2 months dont want my youtube going down haha

Ok first of all, a single copyright strike won't make your channel go down, you need 3 of them. And generally, if you get a copyright strike, you can get it removed after 6-ish months from what I've heard.
I got my copyright strike removed immediately when I got one, courtesy of my network, though you're not in a position yet where your network will do that for you. I suggest focusing on content creation and growing your channel, and not around issues such as this.

I know it's probably poop advice and sounds like I'm saying "make vids, f**k copyright", but generally what you wanna worry about as a new Youtuber is creating content and furthering yourself as a Youtuber. What do YOU want to share with the world?

Personally Youtube is still a hobby now that it's my full-time job, and that's why I don't wanna spend hours upon hours finding the rights to all the music I use. Though I do ALWAYS credit all the artists for their work, and if any artist requests part of or the whole revenue from a video I've used his music alone in, then I am bound to give it to him, not just by law, but also by morals.

One of the people I've had the pleasure of working with was Rakohus, you can search his channel on Youtube, he makes a lot of 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit remixes of songs, and I find they work very well as background music. I've bought all his albums, ep's, and releases, and I always link to his work when I use it, he's totally cool with it, I'm sure he'd allow any of you to do it as well.

Most of Monstercat's music canbe used as long as you give full credit to the producer, there is no such as noncopyrighed music, there's Royalty free and CC.

There IS non copyrighted music, if I sung a song right now and recorded it, it wouldn't be copyrighted, I would have the rights to my creative work, but it wouldn't be copyrighted.
