Free HD editing software?

I can't use windows movie maker because it keeps not working even when i don't edit files I can't save them as a movie file so I would need a free editing software that is simple because my computer if fairly slow so pirate versions of the expensive software wont run on my computer and it needs to save/render in 720p HD.

Thanks and I hope I find one soon because I cannot edit any of my vlogs.

Lightworks is actually a pretty good free editing program. The learning curve actually isn't that much worse than with any other editing program. The other major advantage is that it runs pretty well, even on a fairly slow computer. I would definitely suggest giving it a try.
