You're insulting the previous owner of the forums for putting a rule in that makes perfect sense. People need to know if the style the person is offering is what they want, so putting examples inside of the thread shows them what they'll be getting.

I really don't care if you're offering free work, it's no excuse for being a jerk.

I'm usually very nice, but please don't be rude on this site. You don't want to follow the rules or promote a kind attitude, then yes, I suggest you take your work elsewhere.
