Mischief Man here... First of all super heroes need no script.. Lol i'm just joking, but whenever i film my intros i usually just free ball it off the top of my head.. What about you guys? Have you ever free balled it and it sounded better then if it were scripted?? - Mischief Man

It depends. If you are not a very good actor then as you say free ball it. If you are a good actor then use script. If you go with the first option then you will have emotions in your words but if you had a script then you would say the words all clear and stuff but they don't have emotion in them. If you go with the second option then you can do it with or without a script.
