Fraps why you no work?

hello everyone josh 0794 here and i have just came across a problem with fraps.

basically i went to do a voice over on a gameplay but the sound did not come out when i went to look at the play back i have checked all the seetings and there all turned on.

the only thing i do not get is i an talk to people via skype with the microphone but as soon as i record fraps does not seem to pick up the sound from the mic.if that makes scence.

on fraps is the record external output selected , and i know this may sound stupid but is your mic on, i've done it before and then realised my mic wasnt on

yeah the mic is on [DOUBLEPOST=1345212122,1345212108][/DOUBLEPOST]but it is still not working

have you tried playing it back in something like sony vegas? i find sometimes that windows media player or classic player do not play all the audio channels.
