Fraps videos too dark

Hello people,

I'm sure this issue has been discussed before; couldn't find anything with a quick search though.

So video files recorded using Fraps come out too dark -- much darker than what you see when you actually play the game.

Does anybody know what the issue might be and how to fix it?

Have you tried recording other games to see if you replicate the issue?

I have this problem as well, my fix is to edit the brightness in whatever editing program you use. If this can be fixed in fraps i'd love to know how!
