Fraps V. Bandicam

What are your thoughts on each? I have done some research on both but there are downs and ups for both.

I know fraps has good performance and quality but HUGE file size (hoping to do 10-15 min videos)
I also have learned bandicam compresses as it's recording resulting in a little lag, but with small file size and reasonable quality.

What are your experiences with this?
I would also like to know if using the DivX mode recording (or if that's what it's called) would it record skype sound too?

Both record skype sound if you've set it up right but Bandi is better for minecraft and Fraps for other games :3

You can greatly reduce file sizes through codecs and automatic compression. Better CPU usage, ability to record at different write speeds to hard drive and theres much more than that.

Don't forget multitrack audio! One of the better features :)
