FouseyTUBE vs Drama Channels

If you don't know, FouseyTube (9 million subs) has been in a lot of YouTube Drama lately. He created a fake fight with RiceGum (2.8 million subs) and tried to manipulate drama channels. The drama channels include DramaAlert (1.4 million subs), Scarce (2.3 million subs), and Philip DeFranco (4 million subs). He called them out because they spread negativity and unnecessary drama. Many call him a hypocrite because he is creating a lot of drama right now. Big YouTubers like Jesse from PrankvsPrank (10 million subs) and Leafyishere (3.9 million subs) also called Fousey out and criticized him. What do you guys think about the situation?

EDIT: I know Philip DeFranco isn't a drama channel, that's just what Fousey said.

Philip DeFranco is not a drama channel he is one of the original YouTube channels. He reports news and has been doing so for 10+ years. We he reported on the "fight" he said that the video is mostly fake, but if it is real RiceGum just recorded himself commiting a crime, which is news. In his respond vid Phil proved that everything Fousey said about Phil and his video was wrong and I do mean EVERYTHING. I suggest watching it.

Then Fousey said, in the comment section of his expose video, that him and Phil talked and that they know they missunderstood each other. Which Phil didn't missunderstand anything.

Edit: I think Fousey has deleted the comment, but you can find a tweet he did say something similar.

Looking at his last videos, half of them or more are Youtube-related, so he seems to have a lot to do with Youtube. Even the thumbnails use the Youtube logo or the playback button as backdrop.
 
Eh. idk man. I get that Fousey was trying to join the bandwagon about drama on YouTube but I think the way he did it was just terrible and cringy. It really didn't have the impact he was going for, but that being said, I can understand and imagine what he was trying to say.

All that being said I dont have the slightest problem with drama channels and drama on YouTube. Drama's interesting to humans for a reason and theres no need to censor it just because its negative. There's a reason something negative is going to be more enticing to look into after all.
 
I think that whilst Fouseytube is awful and pretty much part of a massive problem. He does have a point even if it is kinda weak. He made a video and they flocked to it regardless of them calling it fake is irrelevant to me as they still reported on it, which is what he likely wanted. Then he does the whole thing about manipulating them which could be true or just something convenient for him to say after they did report his clearly fake video.

If you ask me they shouldn't have bothered giving him the attention when they knew the content wasn't real but lets be honest. This argument will last a few days and all of the channels will make million viewed videos and profit from fake events. They are all as bad as each other and its quite hilarious to watch.

TLDR keep the fake drama wheel rolling yo.

I dont know man, I mean a news channel reports news. If its a news channel specifically made for reporting YouTube drama I dont really see how they "flocked" to it, when its their job. Its like calling a dog manipulated because it ate the dog food you gave it. They should be reporting on it, because its quite plainly something interesting that is happening on YouTube. Just like how your dog should eat that delicious dog treat you gave him.

Although 100% agree this is a hilarious time to watch the channels bicker on YouTube.
