The program is called Handbrake. Since links aren't allowed, just search Handbrake on google. It's got a pineapple on its logo.
I thought I'd share it with you guys, since it helped me a lot in optimizing my videos and making things less of a hassle.
I had a gaming video which rendered (using sony vegas) into an approximately 136mb file, then encoded it using handbrake and it turned into almost half it's size 79.2 mb, and the best thing was that quality was the same, still HD.
Just in case you don't know how to use it :
1. Click on "Source" on the top left of Handbrake's screen. Then choose a video you want encoded.
2. Then set the Destination, or where you want the encoded video to be in, so set that.
3. For the settings, leave it at default but only check the option "Web Optimized". Double check too if the container is on .Mp4
4. Now click start, and wait!
I hope this program serves well!
