Agreed. I fit into the hobbiest camp. Two of my top 3 videos are "computer build" related, but I don't want ThriftyAV to become a low budget LTT or Paul's Hardware. I will continue to do occasional computer related content, like when I upgrade my editing rig, but I flat refuse to turn into another computer tech channel.
 
I think you need to find the right balance between what you want and what your audience would want since you decided to treat your channel like a business
