First video using adobe premiere - what do you think?

I Love YTtalk
Hi everyone! I switched over from movie maker to adobe premiere and this is my first video using it! It was a HUGE learning curve and I still have lots and LOTS to learn in that software.

For those of you who use Adobe can you suggest what additional features I can learn and use in my videos?

Enjoy!

p.s. I'm working on a thumbnail to add as we speak

Lookin' good! There were a few audio glitches and some out of focus shots, but otherwise, it was a nice video :) The end card didn't quite fit the screen though. You'll probably have to make a new one for the larger ratio size of the video. A quick fix would be to right click the clip and set it to fit the frame's size, but that could make it a bit blurry if the image is too small. Keep it up though! It's probably worth it to just play around with some of the tools. Think of things you want to be able to do in a video and look up tutorials on how to do it. Good luck! :)

Thanks for the feedback I really appreciate it! As for the audio glitches my computer is too slow to handle the software so I'm buying a new laptop so hopefully that problem will be fixed soon :)

You have a point about the end card it really bothered me that it doesnt fit, you will notice for the video I posted after I did the "quick" fix but it's still not perfect. What ratio size do you suggest I make the picture next time I create the end card?

You're welcome :) Ah that's too bad, but hopefully the new laptop will help with that.

Youtube has some nice info on thumbnails here: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/72431?hl=en

  • Have a resolution of 1280x720 (with minimum width of 640 pixels).
  • Be uploaded in image formats such as .JPG, .GIF, .BMP, or .PNG.
  • Remain under the 2MB limit.
  • Try to use a 16:9 aspect ratio as it's the most used in YouTube players and previews.
