Finding pictures to use

Gods of Odds

Loving YTtalk
I'm looking for pictures to use for my lore series but I'm not sure where a good place would be to get some. I have been looking on Google but they aren't really suitable.

Depends on what kind of lore you are doing or making. A different approach is to do the pictures yourself.
We did think that but for the sort of pictures we would want and the amount we would want, it would take way too long. The lore series is basically about gods from different religions like Roman, Greek and some other ones.

I've moved your thread to the branding / channel design forum. :)

Check out wikipedia for a source of copyright-free photos. Click on a suitable photo and it'll give you the license details and how to give credit.

I see, then either make it yourself or just try a different idea for thumbnails >_< thats what I do if I can't find anything either.

if you want those types of photos then I would recommend check out libraries and scan pictures from books :)

Just be careful pulling images from Google willy-nilly. Make sure anything you use is public domain, creative commons (with the proper attributions), or you have permission/license to use it. Copyright claims suck.

There are plenty of royalty free image sources out there, especially for mythology since there are a ton of depictions old enough to be public domain. Use your Google-Fu young grasshopper.
