Final Cut Pro X vs Adobe Premiere Pro?

I've Got It
I'm going to be getting a Mac soon and a new editing software. I was wondering which one I should get. Thanks :)

This is the last time I'm answering one of these threads. Mainly because I'm sick and tired of the question and peoples inability to search the forums.

None of them is better than the other. You can do the same effects and render in the same quality. It's all personal preference.

He is correct! Personal Preference..

Although I would choose Premiere over X as of right now. I have Final Cut 7 and refused to go to X as it was a mighty step backwards.

What's the difference between Final Cut Pro 7 and Final Cut Pro X?

Final Cut 7 is professional. X is not. The workflow is very different from all the professional editors like Vegas and Premiere. Apple tried to "revolutionize" editing, but they changed it too much.

Well, 7 was comparable to Avid Media composer. when they went to X most post houses dropped Final Cut. where I work we went Avid, Adobe, and Edius . X is still ok, but if you can get 7 Get that. Or go Adobe.
