I'm slowly migrating over to my macbook air as my main computer, and I was wondering which one you guys think is the better choice for me. Final Cut Pro X or Adobe Premiere CS6. I've been looking into both, and I've tried Final Cut in a trial, but haunt tried premiere yet. Which one do you think is better for small video editing? I don't do much heavy stuff. Just some trimming, maybe some color correction. That kind of stuff. I generally don't have anything to render that exceeds like 15 minutes. If I got premiere it would be with Adobe Creative Cloud and would be getting all the other great Adobe products; which I might do anyway for flash and photoshop, so it would be great to not have to spend extra for a video editing software.

Thanks for any feedback!

I would say to try premier pro first...I prefer to work with premier but thats because I haven't used final cut in so long lol

Thats what I was leading towards because I'm use to adobe products. I have experience with photoshop and flash and I've always just liked the workflow of adobe programs.

I agree...I normally use Photoshop and a lil bit of illustrator...wanted to learn flash but eh...I learned a bit of Dreamweaver!

I've never used Illustrator but I've heard great things about it. Dreamweaver I've used a bit ,but I like to just hard code stuff in notepad++.
