Mods: feel free to move this if in the wrong place.
First, to everyone: if you haven't already added abusive language to your commenting blacklist, do it!
So, in the last few weeks I've experienced some major growth.
Unfortunately, due to the nature of politics and history, my videos have attracted a swarm of abuse, cussing, insults, crazy accusations, even a few death threats (even one from a dude claiming to be from ISIS, whoohoo!).
I have a thick skin, but I feel that this is hurting my chances to build a community; new people will just see the cesspool comment section and never participate in honest conversation/debate (which is what I want). My videos are for making people think, not making people angry.
So I've taken the time to add comment filters and blacklist some common abusive words and phrases.
This works just fine on the desktop. The rubbish is quarantined to the spam folder.
However, on the Creator App, the filtered messages just appear right alongside the normal ones. Does anyone know a fix to this? I'd hate to be resigned to never using the App for comments again.
Sorry for being long-winded. This is just really stressing me out at the moment.
