Agreed, but how so?Your videos aren't bad, but you could spice up the commentary a bit!
Nice self-advertisement! Hahha, sneaky bugger.Like this my friend!
Thanks for that mateAh I am sorry. I was supposed to link to a specific time in the video that showed "EXCITEMENT" Besides I get paid by FREEMMOSTATION to do commentaries. This one is not really one to take notes on lol.
I'll just type out how:
Whenever you make any noise, speak, or yell= forget about how loud you are. If you think you are being too loud, then you are doing it right.
When you talk, move your whole face
When you are thinking of what to say and can't think of anything= don't talk about random stuff talk about related content.
such as the dragon fight in your featured video= you could have talked about the design of it/how scary the fight is/how the fight related to other fights/the difficulty/ the game as a whole/ the mechanics as a whole/ level layout impression/ ETC ETC ETC ETC ETC.
We can tell you are excited/scared/emote but we want to know exactly why and what led to this.
Welp, hope that helps.
I totally agree, your voice can be like slurred, there is just so much concentration going into the game you forget your recording >.<It helps with clarity. I am currently taking voice acting lessons and after that tip I have gotten MUCH better at speaking while doing commentary. Playing a game and speaking is pretty hard. Often I would stutter or get a random accent or lisp for no reason. Talking takes a lot of brain power. Moving the face helps you sound better but also helps you think about what you are saying with more focus.
