Featured Content Channel ad - anyone have any luck with this?

Under the 'channel' section of the creator studio there is a 'featured content' section that gives the text - "Have a channel ad? Choose the video and it could be selected as one of a few to be promoted to viewers."

Have any of you noticed any extra views from this? Is there an area in analytics traffic sources that would specifically show this? Would it appear under 'other youtube features --> partner promotion'? That would be my guess.

I'm just curious how much this Youtube feature really helps people. If you did enable this and haven't checked analytics or don't know how, just go to the 'other youtube features' section in 'traffic sources' and it might be under 'partner promotion'.

I haven't made like an actual ad video so i just added a regular video that i have but they want a video under 1 minute so idk. I don't think it does much but hey its a bonus so why not use it.

I've gotten a little bit of traffic from it, just using my channel intro. But not by any means is it a large source of traffic.
