Famebit any good?

ItsBecky

Internet Idiot who loves making people laugh
I noticed famebit seems to sponsor people to do product reviews, which is what I often do on my channel, so I was hoping to join them when i get big enough, i think you have to be at at least 1k subs

Does anyone have experience with them, how does it work etc?

I have probably read it completely wrong but this is how it came across to me!

Thankyou in advance for any advice :)

I have not tried them yet... When I reached out I had under 1k subs, so I couldn't use them. But yeah, 1k is what you need unless they changed something.

Last I checked they raised the limit now to 5k, but you can have 5k of any one social network.

I'm more or less interested if Famebit is actually worth it. Like, I would love to be sponsored. That sounds cool! Don't know if I want a middleman involved. Does Famebit take revenue? Probably. Otherwise I'd be shocked on how they can afford to make as many ads as they do. What are the benefits of Famebit? If anything I think it's a bit weird. So, brands put out products they want to promote. You come by and tell them "Oy, I'll do it!". Famebit seems more like a message-board of sorts than anything. It makes me question whether or not I should approach brands MYSELF.

Any insight to how this website works would be great.

yeah just noticed its 5k now :( i think it really is just a message board for advertisers and you just apply to do it and tell them how you will incorporate their product into your video

I am on FameBit (my twitter and IG accounts are over 5k so I have access to the whole site even though my YT account is at 600 subs). From what I can see it does seem to be a message board for sponsors as mentioned above. There is a small description of what the sponsor wants (info on their product, what platform they want it to be promoted on, where geographically the creator should be, how many followers/subscribers they desire etc etc), and then a price range they are willing to pay for the sponsorship ($100-$250 is the lowest I've seen so far and $1,000-$2,500 is the highest).

You send a proposal to them as to why they should accept you, and then if they like you the sponsor gets back to you and hey presto you can talk about what's needed. I have not been chosen by any sponsors yet so I cannot talk about how that side of the process goes!

Hope that helps!
