FAKE "verified" YouTube Channels!!!

lately i've noticed whenever i do a search on youtube, usually there's like 3 channels that show up as "verified" on the channel name under the video (before the video is clicked) then when I click on the video its some random channel with like 5 subs, and it no longer shows as verified.. I've also seen a few cgannels that appear to be completely verified (which i found in the comment section), with no subs or videos, and its clearly not a celebrity or anything like that, one channel had the name was "Adolf Hitler" and it was verified, i even went to the google plus page of these people and its verified on there as well.. So what is up with this!? Im getting sick of fake verified people! Are people purposefully hacking their channel somehow to make if verified!? I know the ones in the search results is a glitch for the most part, because apparently im "verified" when searched... and i only have 3k subs.

It's a bug. I'm not verified, though some videos I appear like I am.

Getting "Verified" isn't as hard as it seems. All you need is a website to insert some code, and have like 1000+ +1's on G+. I've seen many people who aren't "celebrities" or anyone famous, not have many youtube subs etc. that are verified because of their G+ page.

I know that's a good amount, but people usually need at least 100k to be verified.

If I am not mistaken (If I am Sorry D: got the wrong information)I think you can get verify now by Google+ and not for how many susbcribers you have o.o

Verifying used to only require an easy verification of your own website (just insert some javascript) to your G+ account. This would then transfer over to YouTube. I don't remember exactly what the process is now but some of those may have carried over.

No, those VIDEOS are verified.
You can verify particular videos.
All my videos are verified, which means I get that little tick next to my name,
under the verified video, even though I myself am obviously not verified.
