Facecam on Ps3 with Elgato

Hi guys!
I would really like to use a face cam in my LP video's. I already have a webcam, microphone and Elgato. I just recorded a gameplay of Deadspace on the Elgato and via Quicktime I recorded my face. (I'm on Mac)
Now when I put everything together in Final Cut Pro the audio and video are in sync in the beginning but after 5 minutes the video (quicktime video) is slower than the audio (elgato audio).
Anybody know how to fix that?

Umm... because I don't really know that much about this, what I do is, record audio with one software, then record gaming with another, then just paste it together in a software...

Yeah... Lol. :p

Mmm maybe I should try recording audio and video in one program. Like that the video and audio are in the same software... Thanks!:D

How do y'all record facecam on ps3 or xbox?

Okay have you already rendered the video? Or was it just a preview where the audio is out of sync? This may occur when your computer is not the fastest and isn't able to render the preview properly.
I personally use a camcorder and the program Audacity for recording my face and audio. This is simply the best free audio recording software you can get.
To keep it in sync you just have to "give yourself a sign" when you start recording, like with the press of a button you say something so you can match this stuff together later.
It's also easy when you watch parts of the video like jumpscares which lead to a reaction and just put it together properly. There are honestly 1000 other ways to keep your facecam and gameplay sync like change of lighting etc etc.

@TheAustrianGuys Thanks so much! I recorded a video where my voice audio and face were in one program and the gameplay without my voice audio in another program and it worked! :)
Now I only need a way to fix my mic and I'm totally ready haha :p
