So I have a Canon Rebel T6i/750D and was wondering whats the best external mic to use with it, I've heard things about the proper Rode mics being just as useful as some cheaper ones and was wondering what you guys use

best use a condenser microphone with a caridoid polar pattern the rode NT1 is a pretty decent and professional mic, I use it myself as a music producer. make sure to get a mic stand as well

I suggest a Rode Mic and a Zoom h1

They're good quality at a decent price
