Explanation -- I Officially Hate FRAPS

Well guys, I'll keep using FRAPS for other stuff, but Tribes 2 isn't working with it anymore. And I didn't even change anything. Suggestions on other not so expensive or free software? Hit me up! :) Thanks! :)

Did you pay for Fraps? If no, don't complain. If yes, call them, they should help you.

I have used almost every major video recording software but most of the time it wasn't enough to change my current software.
First I used fraps. Then I tested DXTory and I preferred it to fraps (A possible choice for you). Within the last month of so, I checked some software called Action! by Mirillis and I prefer that over DXTory. More options, Fullscreen recording, Regional recording, Low CPU usage, Small file sizes (Low HDD usage), user friendly.
Action is the one I use now.

I did, and no, they cannot help with this issue. Tribes 2 is a 13 year old game, and the problems I am having are a wide range. :/ Including random glitches in the game.

Thanks, I'll be sure to check those out, too. I'll let you guys know if I like any of them. :)

OBS is really good for windows PC's. You can save all the files but you also have the option to live stream using the software with very little effort into setting it up. It also allows for you to add overlays and facecam to the video! :)
