KGATV

YASSS
Hey! So I wan't to put on a experiment, to try to see if I can grow my channel faster. Well, not exactly my channel (as in KGATV, my current one), but another channel. So I am wanting some feedback from you guys to help me out.

If you don't know my channel, I am a daily vlogger. I vlog my day everyday. I also put up weekly "special" videos like challenges, tags, that sort of thing. More of the "popular" type of vlogs. My channel is growing at a small steady rate, and in no way am I complaining about that. It just seems like not many people are into the daily vlogs.

I want to put on an experiment, and by that I mean make a new 'secret' channel where I would post the weekly videos, and that's it. No daily vlogs at all on that channel. (I will still keep KGATV for daily vlogs, because I want to finish 365 of daily vlogging). It seems like channels with weekly videos seem to get more attention than a daily vlog channel. I recently split gaming videos from my channel onto a gaming channel, and saw a big increase in comments, likes, views, and audience retention.

What do you think? Do you think this can work? I love doing daily vlogs and weekly videos, but I feel if I were to split them up, have one channel with daily vlogs.. another with weekly more "professional" videos, I'd might make something out of my channel.

I don't want people subscribing to me because those weekly videos, not knowing I do daily vlogs, and seeing all those daily vlogs and unsubscribe

That is exactly what I'm about to do. I'm going to take a hiatus, get way ahead of myself on symphonious7, and then symphonious7 will have a set 2 video a week schedule and be only music videos and fully produced and edited skits/vlogs. I'm also going to tone down the weirdness, and keep my more... attractive side as the consistent thing on symphonious7. Then I'm going to open a new channel called either "SymphVlogs" or "SymphWeird" or something like that (still deciding on the name) and that will be the "everything else channel" for all my weird blind vlogs and rants and all that jazz. I have a strong feeling it's going to boost my stats alot. I think alot of people get confused by me, they see a music video that's all cool and slick and rockin and they're like "whoa that was awesome I'm subbing!" Then the next thing I put out is me zooming a camera toward and away from my face while making a crazy noise and they're like "wait.. WHAT?" LOL

I would only prefer active subs and i work really hard on my channel i just don't understand why you need so many channels. The big thing about gaming channels they seem to get alot of subs and comments along with the views but most of the people who start up gaming channels don't do the proper steps to starting a successful gaming channel and get the proper authentication to use the gameplay and monetize the content but i do mostly tech on my channel and plan on bringing comedy soon.

I think it is a great idea, It may seem like "oh this guys is crazy! Three channels?!?" I feel this is probably a much more organized way to go about it though, that way you have your different sets of viewers that come for a specif part of the channel. This way they can have the videos they want to see in their feed, without being "eww gaming videos" or "eww daily vlogs"

I hate this idea people being selfish lol why do we need 3 channels or whatever i can say 2 is fine. If you work hard i feel like it will eventually pay off:confused:

Well I say if you can handle three, cudos to you. I personally can not. No way. I get to invested in one and forget the other.
