Hello friends, I’ve been doing youtube for a short time now, but I am determined to make my channel the very best it can be. I know this forum is out here to help. So I want to make it as easy as possible for you to do so.

I seek to maximize positive change to my channel. To do so, I want to focus on the most lacking features of my Channel in order to make a noticeable difference.
Please evaluate my Channel using this format so I can put your critical input into effect ASAP

ok here you go seeing as you requested it so nicely :)

Channel Art - i like it, its clear, bright, its different, you can maybe add a tag line to describe your channel or a upload schedule but thats personal preference. its hard to tell what you do from your channel art alone

Thumbnails - for me, this is the weakest area, none of the thumbnails have any sort of theme to bring them together, whether thats a colour scheme or a logo or a stripe down the side with your name or logo, something to bring it all together to give your channel some sort of brand. also the text is not great, some of it is a little bit hard to read and a couple of the thumbnails are a bit messy

Good upload schedule, only been going a month but keep it going

Content - i really enjoyed it. your engaging and quick to the point, good video length

SEO is a tough one. your videos are random stories from your school days. what are you hoping people will search for to find them? what you could do is find bigger vloggers that have told similar stories about their school days and make your titles similar, including a few of the same tags and have a similar description. not copy, do it in your own style but use those same keywords. that way you might well show up in the suggested tab of those videos

alternatively, you could be more specific with your stories. something that people are more likely to search for, a random example but "how i dealt with bullying" and tell your usual entertaining story about a situation where you dealt with it

hope that helps mate

Thank you so much. I went to work immediately on changing up my channel art. The thumbnails is a continual battle, but I will work my best to put more effort into higher quality ones, instead of my current 10min - paint.net thumbnails. As for SEO, It is certainly a difficult dilemma you've presented me with, but I thank you very much for bringing to my attention. Reformatting my stories and thinking of more "search -friendly" titles and topics will be certainly a challenge in the coming weeks. Thanks again, your feedback was invaluable. From now forward I will
- Make thumbnails more readable
- Make titles and topics more "Search- Friendly"
- Continue to keep up my schedule.
I hope this also helps out anyone in their own channel looking to improve it somehow, perhaps they can use this feedback as well. :)

you have made a great start, your already further a long than many channels are at 6 months. and its clear how much you want to learn and thats fantastic, every new youtuber should set aside a good few hours each week to learn something new, whether thats analytics, SEO, marketing, branding, editing, all that stuff.

good luck with your channel mate, can't wait to see it in 6 months
